General Mfg., Inc. recently announced the product launch of its new Stubby II LED work light. The new Stubby II LED
has eight (8) 1/2-watt side LEDs and is available with super bright 1-watt LED on the end. The end light functions as a flashlight while the side LEDs serve as a work light. The LEDs are rated at 50,000 hours, which equals 5.7 years operating 24 hours a day, seven days per week. New generation LEDs provide equal light to a fluorescent, but contain no mercury and are more energy efficient. Options include X-Treme Shield chemical and scratch resistant outer tube and Magmount. Models are available on cord and reel with and without power outlet. A Return-On-Investment sheet is available showing the cost savings compared to typical fluorescent lights.
