AutoEnginuity, LLC, a global engineering company specializing in vehicle diagnostic solutions, recently announced the worldwide release of ScanTool 8.3 for the Windows platform. ScanTool is a vehicle diagnostics system for the professional vehicle service industry.  

AutoEnginuity would like to announce the release of the 8.3 version of its popular ScanTool software. With this release, our professional customers have access to more late-model European coverage than any of our competitors.

This version focuses on completing our software implementation of enhanced expansions to the ProLine hardware (i.e., Jaguar and Land Rover). The ProLine hardware provides functionality previously impossible with our OBDII hardware. The ProLine hardware adds support such as MCAN body controllers for Jaguar and Land Rover, RCM support for older Jaguars, and removing the Land Rover body controller pigtail requirement. Other software improvements include Porsche Cayenne ‘08+ SDI and DFI and 997 Turbo TOP DME coverage, BMW R50/R51/R53 adaptation resets, and full Mercedes Sprinter (906) '07 - '09 support.
