The new 31713 Aluminum Bead Holder from Ken-Tool can be used on nearly all steel or alloy passenger car, light truck, agricultural and over-the-road truck wheels, the maker said. The tool is suitable for super wide truck wheels as well as low profile passenger car tires. Made of cast aluminum, the tool’s C-Lok shape allows it to be quickly placed into position to block the tendency for the tire bead to creep back below the rim edge when demounting or mounting a tire. The tool is offered in a cabled pair set (#31714) for difficult tire/wheel mounting situations.
