This latest release features the ability to program the newly released multi-coverage programmable sensor from Standard Motor Products (SMP). Bartec says the QWIK-SENSOR offering is engineered with the technological advancements that customers have come to expect from SMP and covers 94% of all domestic, European and Asian applications with three multi-coverage TPMS sensors.

According to Scot Holloway, CEO of Bartec USA, “Adding the QWIK-SENSOR to our arsenal of programmable sensor coverage gives even greater flexibility to the repair technician.”

Holloway further noted, “Combining QWIK-SENSOR coverage with Bartec’s easy-to-use tools, means tire retailers and auto service companies alike can service more cars and create more satisfied customers.”

All that’s required to program the QWIK-SENSOR is a current account at www.bartecusa.com and to download [and update] your Tech400+, Tech400SD or Tech500 tools with R52. Once your tool is updated with R52, programing the QWIK-SENSOR is as easy as a few button clicks of the tool, the company states.

“An added benefit of programming these sensors with the same tool that completes the TPMS relearn, [is that] you can test the sensor prior to installation,” according to Michael Rose, Bartec product manager.
