Bartec USA announces the release of its latest tool software update. Available to current subscribers to tools.bartecusa.com, Release 54 can now be downloaded to the respective Bartec TPMS Tool.

As always, says the company, this newest version of software is packed with features and coverages. The available features depend on which Bartec tool you have and are clearly defined in the software release bulletins found by clicking the Tech Support icon found in TPMS Desktop.

“Bartec continues to lead the industry in the number of vehicles our tools can relearn through the OBD II port,” according to CEO Scot Holloway. “Our goal is to add bonus OBD coverage to every software release. Bonus OBD coverage is defined as any stationary or auto relearn that has been converted to an OBD relearn. We continue on our quest toward having all TPMS relearns occur via the OBD II connection.”

In addition to more OBD relearns, release 54 adds more programmable sensor coverage, an improved battery meter icon and filled in any missing model year 2016 application coverage. Rounding out this new software is improvements to Wi-Fi updating and additional mode changing on OE sensors.

For a complete breakdown and explanation of all new features included in software releases 54 and which tools they apply to; simply click on the Tech Support icon in your TPMS Desktop and click on TSBs. There you will find the software release bulletins as well as other TPMS support information.
