Integrated Supply Network Expands Midwest Footprint with New, Larger Facility

Conveniently located, this brand-new building will feature a much larger parking lot and a larger will-call area, making it easy for local customers to place and pick up orders.

ISN logoIn support of aggressive expansion plans, Integrated Supply Network (ISN), an independent automotive and light industrial tool and equipment specialist, will open a new warehouse April 13 in Grimes, Iowa.

Previously, ISN operated a 9,000-square-foot facility in Des Moines, Iowa. The company expands its footprint with 25,000-square-foot facility just 16 miles west in Grimes. Conveniently located off of highway 80, this brand-new building will feature a much larger parking lot and a larger will-call area, making it easy for local customers to place and pick up orders.

ISN also announced that with the additional square footage this facility will be able to increase inventory from 4,000 SKUs to 14,000, offering customers a much broader selection. This also increases ISN’s one-day shipping product coverage in the Midwest. To handle the increased inventory, this facility has three loading docks compared to only one dock in the previous location. Three sales associates will also be located in the Des Moines facility to offer more assistance to current customers as well as facilitate growth for this area.

The new warehouse is equipped with the latest technology in racking and storage solutions to maximize warehouse space. The warehouse management system also will be upgraded shortly after opening to match the same technology all other ISN warehouses operate on, increasing overall efficiency.
