As Babcox Media’s Joe Keene shows for this forward-facing camera calibration following a windshield replacement on a Stellantis vehicle, the procedure itself requires little more than driving. But first the technician will need to perform a few necessary tasks, such as ensuring a completed FCA registration. Additionally, prior to driving the vehicle, the technician must select a route that avoids stopping, which will negate the calibration in progress. Internet access must also be maintained throughout the procedure.
When ADAS components are repaired, there are additional steps that need to be taken for the calibrations to be complete.
