Adayana Inc. recently announced the launch of its automotive technical skills training system and website MyTechCampus (mytechcampus.com). The site provides access to Adayana’s library of automotive service, service management and safety courses developed specifically for the web. The site offers courses and support tools to service providers interested in training for their employees, and individual learners who wish to purchase online training.
A popular feature of the training system is the suite of ASE Study Guides developed by Adayana for career-critical ASE certification, a program of the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence. Learners can prepare for their certification with unlimited access to practice questions and test simulation. The guides give ongoing feedback whenever review of particular content is needed.
Adayana provides custom e-Learning development services and industry-focused “off-the-shelf” courseware products. As a part of its automotive focus, the company has acquired and developed online or "e-Learning" courses with the goal of reaching learners who are otherwise beyond the reach of traditional training methods. The automotive services industry is currently experiencing a significant shortage of qualified technicians and has turned to online training developers like Adayana for help in reaching this large audience.
"MyTechCampus is central to our automotive strategy," says Adayana General Manager El Huntington. "Our customers range from aftermarket service providers to original equipment manufacturers, and they have critical and timely needs for properly trained technicians. Web-based learning is the most efficient way to reach these learners, quickly and globally."
The MyTechCampus portal provides direct links to the courses, along with detailed course descriptions and resources that support the technician learner in skill acquisition, technical and management competence, and career development. Site visitors will also have access to the Technical Assessment System (TAS), designed to systematically measure knowledge in nine different skill areas. TAS will help learners and their managers identify specific deficiencies and where training will be most beneficial.
