Anglo American Tools announces its newest product range from IREGA, a specialist manufacturer of high-quality adjustable wrenches based in Spain. This range is available in four sizes and takes the ordinary adjustable wrench and enhances its features and benefits. With the removable jaw that can be reversed, the adjustable wrench now becomes a pipe wrench.
“It combines the convenience of an adjustable wrench with the versatility of being a pipe wrench,” says Stephen Tuck, president of Anglo American Tools. “Many users will appreciate the multi functions of this tool.”
The IR92WR range offers several features and benefits, which enhance the uses of a wrench, says the company. It can be used as a normal adjustable wrench, but with the added benefit of offering 25% more capacity due to the wide opening feature versus standard adjustable wrenches of an equivalent size.
The jaw slide can be reversed depending upon the user’s need to use an adjustable wrench (smooth jaws) or a pipe wrench (jaw with teeth). The worm screw allows smooth and solid width adjustment.
It offers a double scale with millimeters on one side and inches on the other side for a rapid sizing of the tool onto the fastener. It is made of chrome vanadium steel for strength and durability. It is available in 6”, 8”, 10” and 12” sizes.
