Astro Pneumatic Tools launched its comprehensive Riveter & Rivet Nut Setting Line at SEMA.
In 2016, Astro has introduced the PRN series of Pneumatic Rivet Nut Setting Guns, offering consumers affordable heavy-duty, industrial-strength Air Powered Rivet Nut Setting Guns, offered in both metric (PRN1, PRN8M, PRN12M) and SAE (PRN1, PRN12, PRN516) sizes, says the company.
Astro has also introduced model 4980 – 0.498″ Shank Super Duty Air Hammer / Riveter, offering maximum power for heavy-duty off-road, industrial and automotive applications. The latest addition to the program is the Astro 1452 – XL Nut/Thread Setting Hand Riveter Kit, a larger version of the popular 1442 Hand Rivet Nut Setter, with up to ½” capability. For use in automotive fastening, panel mounting, bumpers, safety belts, motorcycles, commercial vehicles, trailers, off-road specialty and more, the potential functions in this category continue to widen exponentially.
The Astro Pneumatic Rivet & Rivet Nut Setting offering provides a range of capability from the lowest sized fasteners to the largest industry standards.
