The dreaded customer comeback: It wastes time (yours and the customer’s), costs you money and can damage your reputation. Prevent cooling system comebacks by installing Bar’s Leaks Professional DiFM Cooling System Treatment with every cooling system service.

“There are few things more frustrating than a customer comeback caused by something that is out of your control,” says Clay Parks, vice president of development for Bar’s Products, manufacturer of Bar’s Leaks. “For example, a simple flush-and-fill can cause a comeback if the customer had previously installed a temporary stop-leak product that gets washed out of the system. Sure, it’s not your fault, but all the customer knows is that his car wasn’t leaking when he brought it to you. Or maybe you installed a new water pump and the gasket gets slightly kinked or the casting has an imperfection, causing a leak shortly after the customer picks up her vehicle. Again, the customer thinks you didn’t do the job right. By preventing leaks like these, Bar’s Leaks Professional DiFM Cooling System Treatment serves as inexpensive insurance against cooling system comebacks.”

Professional DiFM Cooling System Treatment (p/n J-100) seals internal, external and coolant-to-oil leaks. It also stops leaks at the radiator tank seal, head bolt threads, core plugs and hose connections. It is a professional strength version of the Bar’s Leaks formula relied on by car and truck manufacturers and owners since 1947.

Professional DiFM Cooling System Treatment also inhibits the formation of rust and scale, helps control electrolysis, neutralizes pH imbalance and lubricates the water pump seal. Some shops charge customers for the product as “water pump lubricant” or “cooling system supplement.” Others simply bill it against shop supplies.

Bar’s Leaks Professional DiFM Cooling System Treatment is specifically designed for professional technicians serving DiFM “Do It For Me” customers. It is compatible with all brands of antifreeze, including conventional green or blue (silicate-based) and extended life red/orange or yellow (OAT/HOAT) coolant. It also works in systems containing only water. It is non-toxic and is harmless to all plastic, metals, hoses and connections.

Bar’s Leaks Professional DiFM Cooling System Treatment is sold in bottles of 100 5-gram tablets. Dosage is four tablets per gallon of cooling system capacity. The tablets fully dissolve in minutes or can be pre-dissolved in warm water. Like all Bar’s Leaks products, Professional DiFM Cooling System Treatment is made in the U.S.A. The label includes directions in both English and Spanish.
