At Automechanika Frankfurt, MAHLE Aftermarket presented its service and solutions expertise for "Workshop 4.0" and a wide range of drive types.

MAHLE Aftermarket will introduce a new generation of A/C service units, which offers workshops connectivity with databases, cost-effective maintenance and straightforward updates.

The ArcticPRO ACX1280 machine from MAHLE Service Solutions received the “Best Use of Technology” new product award at the 2015 Mobile Air Conditioning Society (MACS) Worldwide Trade Show. The award was selected by an impartial panel of automotive press members and was presented to the company last month during the event at the Caribe Royale

MAHLE Service Solutions is showcasing its new interactive touch screen displays and new A/C units for processing R1234yf and R134a refrigerants at the 2015 MACS Show this week.

The site contains updated information on MAHLE Aftermarket’s newest division, providing visitors with a clean, user-friendly site with comprehensive information on the company’s automotive tools and maintenance equipment.

The unit also helps to avoid excessive ozone values, which can prevent oxidation damage to interiors.

The tool’s vehicle communication interface (VCI) and software can be used with a technician’s current Windows-based desktop, laptop or tablet, so it’s very portable.

The ACX1280 series is designed to competently, efficiently and safely service R1234yf refrigerant, while the ACX1180 series is specifically designed to handle R134a refrigerant.

The ACX1280 features fully automatic servicing to ensure easy, time-saving service on R1234yf A/C systems. The ACX1180 features the ability to add a printer, a refrigerant identifier and TechALERT, MAHLE's remote paging device. TechALERT allows a tech to monitor as many as four machines while performing a separate service elsewhere in the shop.

The new TechPRO, which will be available for sale in 2015, was designed so the vehicle communication interface (VCI) and software can be used with a technician’s current desktop, laptop or tablet, making it unnecessary to buy or lease extra hardware.
