Channellock to Feature New Tools at National Hardware Show

NHS attendees can expect daily demos and/or giveaways of CHANNELLOCK tools when they visit Booth SL6065.

Channellock, Inc. will feature its newest hand tools at this year’s National Hardware Show in Las Vegas, N.V. on January 31 – February 2, 2023. Attendees are encouraged to stop by Booth SL6065 at the Las Vegas Convention Center to learn more about CHANNELLOCK tools and their use in the skilled trades, as well as participate in daily tool demos and giveaways.

“We’re excited to share our new lineup of high-quality pliers, wrenches, drivers, and pry bars with trades pros and hardware enthusiasts at this year’s NHS event,” said Jon DeArment, president and COO of Channellock, Inc. “Our tradespeople are the backbone of our country and we’re proud to equip them with the tools they need to keep it running.”

NHS attendees can expect daily demos and/or giveaways of the following CHANNELLOCK tools when they visit Booth SL6065:

10WCB CODE BLUE WIDEAZZ Adjustable Wrench
Inspired by the ever-changing needs of America’s trades professionals, the CHANNELLOCK 10WCB CODE BLUE WIDEAZZ Adjustable Wrench combines the same legendary strength and durability of the two original WIDEAZZ adjustable wrenches, but with an extra-wide, two-inch jaw capacity (up to 72% wider than a standard 10-inch wrench) to support larger nuts and bolts, and longer, non-protruding jaws for greater access in tight spaces.

Pro Drivers and Pry Bars
Channellock, Inc. is excited to introduce its new line of professional-grade, U.S.A.-made screwdrivers at this year’s NHS. CHANNELLOCK Pro Drivers are built with high-grade U.S. steel and feature vacuum heat-treated blades, reinforced 3-sided high-performance handles, comfortable contoured grips, and magnetic tips. The new product line includes the following types of drivers: Phillips, Specialty, Square Recess, Slotted, Multi-Bit, TORX, Metric and Standard Nut Drivers, and more.

Additionally, the new Pro Drivers product line includes 100% U.S.A.-made CHANNELLOCK Pry Bars, available in 7 different sizes as well as a 3-piece set of the most commonly used sizes. All CHANNELLOCK Pry Bars feature a 4-sided high-performance handle, steel cap and “go-thru” blade for added strength and control, and a curved head for increased leverage.

SpeedGrip Tongue & Groove Pliers
In addition to the 10WCB, Channellock, Inc. will feature its SpeedGrip Tongue & Groove Pliers at NHS. SpeedGrip Tongue & Groove Pliers combine the same legendary strength and durability of the original CHANNELLOCK Tongue & Groove Pliers with a new push button that quickly locks into place for fast and easy adjustments. The laser heat-treated, cross-hatched teeth are made to stabilize, tighten, and loosen nuts and bolts, while the CHANNELLOCK BLUE non-slip grips provide ultimate control and comfort on the job. SpeedGrip Pliers are forged from 100% U.S. steel and made in Meadville, P.A. They are available in 8, 10, and 12-inch sizes, as well as 2 and 3-packs.

968 Forged Wire Stripper
In 2020, CHANNELLOCK released its 968 7.5-Inch Forged Wire Stripper for stripping 10-20 AWG solid and stranded wire. Made with Xtreme Leverage Technology (XLT), the 968 requires considerably less force to cut than traditional high-leverage designs, reducing hand fatigue. This wire stripper has screw shears that are precision machined to prevent damage to threads when cutting 6-32 and 8-32 machine screws and a curved cutting shear designed to contain material during handling. The 968 also features a spring-loaded handle for easy, one-handed operation; CHANNELLOCK BLUE Comfort Grips for all-day comfort; a lock for safe storage; and a reaming head to deburr, clean, and flare up to 1-inch conduits. The CHANNELLOCK 968 Forged Wire Stripper is forged from 100% U.S. steel and made in Meadville, P.A.
