Hennessy Industries, Inc., a full-line
wheel-service equipment manufacturer, has introduced its Grip Max Plus Clamps for its X-Series and APX Series tire
changers.

COATS’
Grip Max Plus Clamps will offer:

• Increased Capability – Updated jaw
profile accommodates newer rim flange profiles.

• Improved Grip on Polished Wheels –
New material and wider grip contact area will further minimize slip on polished
wheels, offering twice the slip resistance of conventional clamp covers.

• Improved Durability – COATS’ Grip Max Plus Clamps last 30
percent longer than conventional clamp covers.

“We
believe that our COATS wheel service equipment and accessories are the most
competitive products on the market,” said Kevin Keefe, Hennessy Industries’
vice president of marketing. “The new Grip Max Plus Clamps are our most dynamic
tire changing accessory to date, and we know they offer shop technicians
further versatility as they work on a variety of automobiles.”

COATS
Grip Max Plus Clamps improve upon the COATS Grip Max tire changing
clamps. The updated design will carry the Grip Max legacy
forward through its wide-range capacity that adapts to a variety of rim sizes
versus fixed clamps that require additional adapters. In addition, the Grip Max
Plus Clamps offer a low cost of ownership, and their integrated plastic
protectors keep clamps from damaging the rim during operation.
