This is another problem that arrived at the shop of our TechShop contributor, Olle Gladso and the car was a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta with a 2L TDI engine. It had an intermittent problem. Sometimes it ran great, but sometimes it would idle high and when you would press on the accelerator, nothing would happen.
The code was a P0121 Throttle Position Sensor Range/Performance code.
There were some additional codes stored, but it was clear that the rest of them were not related to the problem, so the focus remained on P0121.
