Remove broken glow plug tips stuck in the cylinder head of diesel passenger cars, light trucks, heavy trucks and a many construction vehicles with CTA’s Glow Plug Tip Puller Kit (7802).
The tap, drill bit and extractor holders are fitted to the body of the original plug and slide in for perfect centering. Self-centering industrial taps with “stop-block” reduce the risk of damage to the cylinder head. The size of drill bits and the shoulder of their holder prevent the risk of drilling or tapping too far into the cylinder head without prior measurement, saving time and reducing damage. Kit services limited clearances, enabling its use for reaching glow plugs nearest to the fire-wall.
The kit includes four easily identifiable guides and punch for flared tips, one punch, one foam grip slide hammer, two drill supports, two tap supports, two puller supports and one magnetic flex extractor. The most common glow plug sizes are M8 and M10.
