EngineQuest (EQ) is proud to once again serve as the title sponsor for the 2009 IMCA Wild West Modified Tour. EQ also serves as the exclusive supplier of the Spec Chevy 350 cylinder head in the IMCA Northern and Southern Sport Mod Divisions, as well as the Hobby Stock Division. The EQ Cylinder Heads Wild West Modified Tour begins the season April 24 in Aztec, NM, and covers nine different tracks in five states with 24 cars starting at each event.
Mark Moore, EQ’s national sales director, says, “We’re very excited to be the title sponsor for the Wild West Modified Tour and to increase our sponsorship of IMCA racing overall. We feel IMCA offers the best grassroots racing in the U.S. and it’s an excellent way to show how our stock and performance heads can compete on the track. We’re looking forward to another exciting year.”
“EQ’s support is one of the primary reasons why this tour became so successful so quickly,” noted IMCA Vice President of Operations, Brett Root. “We are extremely pleased that EQ has extended its sponsorship of the series to a third season, and we look forward to a long and successful association with them.”
EQ’s early 350 cylinder head (#CH350I) is approved as a direct replacement for the IMCA Northern and Southern Sport Mod Divisions and Hobby Stock. EQ’s high performance 23° cylinder head is approved for use in the EQ Cylinder Heads Wild West Modified Tour.
