Equipment and Tool Institute Announces 2011-’12 Officers and Directors, New Social Media Presence

The Equipment and Tool Institute (ETI) has announced its new 2011-’12 officers and board members on their election to office beginning June 1, 2011:

Officers (one-year term): President – Alan Tecmire (ETAS); Vice President, Programs – Dan Brass (SPX); Vice President, Marketing – Ben Johnson (ALLDATA); Secretary/Treasurer – Neil Davis (Snap-on Diagnostics); Immediate Past President – Mike Cable (RTI Technologies).

Directors: Brian Herron (Drew Technologies), Jim Graninger (Robert Bosch), Peter David (ProgRama), Bob Holland (Chief Automotive Technologies), Garret Miller (SPX Service Solutions), David Rich (Innova Electronics Corp.), Tim Morgan (Elektron, Inc.), Greg Potter (DG Technologies) and Nick Zala (Helm Incorporated).

ETI has recently launched its new Facebook page and Twitter account. The company’s new social media sites are places where members can learn more about ETI and interact on a number of industry topics.
The Facebook page will keep members informed of ETI’s latest news and events, and will feature announcements, press releases and photos.

“Facebook and Twitter have the power to enhance ETI’s ability to connect with our members in a timely manner,” said Jessie Korosec, ETI marketing manager. “We are excited to enter the social media space by incorporating Twitter and Facebook into our communications efforts.”
