Racing two Kennys instead of one was twice the fun for five Federated Car Care Center members as they spent the day dirt track racing with NASCAR drivers and Federated spokesmen Kenny Schrader and Kenny Wallace at Schrader’s I-55 Raceway in Pevely, MO, on Sept. 13.
Five Federated Car Care Center members were chosen as winners in the annual Federated “Get Dirty with Kennys” promotion. In addition, the winners were accompanied on the trip by their respective Federated member representative. The winning “dirt track stars” were:
• Richard Anderson of Richards Diesel and Auto Repair, Idaho Falls, ID;
• Dennis Christian of Professional Auto Towing and Service, Salem, VA;
• Derrick Hurley of Hartlaub’s Auto Service, Thomasville, PA;
• Jeff Johnson of Jeff’s Auto and Towing Center, Grafton, OH; and
• Daniel Murphy of Foundation Auto Repair, Austin, TX.
“We had a tremendous day of fun and excitement, and our Car Care Center members had a blast racing the two Kennys,” said J.R. Bishop, director of member services and event marketing for Federated Auto Parts. “Both Kenny Schrader and Kenny Wallace were great hosts and it will be a day that those five rookies will remember forever.”
To have been eligible to win a chance to “Get Dirty with Kennys,” a shop must have been fully enrolled as a Federated Car Care Center member in good standing as of July 15, 2010.
