The new Four Seasons’ refractometer checks the pH levels of engine coolant and battery fluid to guard against component failure due to electrolysis. Electrolysis is a major source of heater core and radiator failures.
“A refractometer will give the most accurate reading of the coolant pH so the proper repairs can be performed,” said Benny Araujo, Four Seasons marketing manager. “Having the right information before starting the repair can save valuable time.”
The Four Seasons refractometer, part number 69058, is available through Four Seasons distributors.
Four Seasons, a remanufacturer of automotive compressors, also manufactures and distributes a complete line of replacement climate control products for passenger cars, SUVs, trucks and fleets. For more information, visit www.4s.com.
