GearWrench Introduces 120XP Ratchet with 120 Positions and Three-Degree Swing Arc

GearWrench's 120XP Ratchet's unique design makes it easier than ever for automotive technicians to reach fasteners in severely limited access applications, says the company.

GearWrench, a premier hand tool brand from Apex Tool
Group, recently announced
the launch of the 120XP Ratchet. According to the company, the new hand tool
features 120 positions for every full rotation, allowing it to turn fasteners
with a swing arc of as little as three degrees.

Its unique design makes it easier than ever for
automotive technicians to reach fasteners in severely limited access
applications. The 120XP has a 60-tooth gear that alternately engages its
Double-Stacked Pawl Technology to produce the 120 positions and three-degree
swing arc. The ratchet’s teardrop-shaped head has a low profile, which also
improves access in tight spaces.

“GearWrench revolutionized the industry with the
introduction of the original five-degree ratcheting wrench, which changed the
game when it comes to access,” said Jim Stewart, product manager for
GearWrench. “The 120XP ratchets take access to a whole new level, providing
users with extreme access, which allows them to get jobs done quicker.”

The 120XP ratchet design provides all the benefits of
a fine-tooth ratchet without sacrificing strength or durability. The product
exceeds the ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) strength
requirements and delivers the strength and durability that have become
synonymous with all GearWrench tools.

The 120XP ratchet’s long handle is ergonomically
designed to provide comfort and a good grip for users. It has an easy-to-clean,
full polish chrome finish and comes in three drive sizes: 1/4”, 3/8” and
1/2”.  The 120XP ratchets are sold separately and come in select
SAE/Metric standard/deep socket sets.

“Automotive technicians often have to remove parts to
gain access to tight spaces while working under the hood of a vehicle. With the
120XP, you can avoid that hassle and save valuable time in the shop,” added
Stewart.

The following 120XP products are now available:

• 1/4" Drive Full Polish Teardrop Ratchet

• 3/8" Drive Full Polish Teardrop Ratchet

• 1/2" Drive Full Polish Teardrop Ratchet

• 51-Pc 1/4" Drive SAE/Metric 6 pt Standard

• 3-Pc Full Polish Mixed Ratchet Set (1/4",

The 1/4”, 3/8” and 1/2” ratchet and socket sets come
in GearWrench branded blow molded cases with removable lids for easy storage
and distinguishing yellow latches.

In addition to ratchets, GearWrench also produces
ratcheting and non-ratcheting wrenches, sockets, screw/nut drivers, pliers and
specialty tools.
