Denny Hamlin earned Joe Gibbs Racing its third 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup series season win this weekend at the Heluva Good! 400 at Michigan International Speedway.  In all three Joe Gibbs victories, the team has relied on the performance of Raybestos racing brakes and chassis products.

Hamlin, in his No. 11 FedEx Toyota, crossed the stripe just .281 seconds ahead of Roush Fenway Racing driver Matt Kenseth.  Kyle Busch, Hamlin’s teammate at Joe Gibbs Racing, finished third for the second week in a row.

The Raybestos Intermediate racing brake package used by NASCAR teams like Joe Gibbs combine ample stopping power with a considerable weight savings advantage on tracks like Michigan’s 2-mile D-shaped oval.

For reliable performance, all the Joe Gibbs Sprint Cup racecars are also equipped with Raybestos Racing ball joints and tie rods. The premium quality chassis parts help fine-tune each car’s suspension setup for optimal grip and handling.

The lessons learned on tracks like Michigan are continually translated into product improvements across the entire Raybestos product line, which includes racing, street performance, police patrol/pursuit vehicles and heavy-duty trucks.
