Koul Tools Awarded Patent for Lapping Tools

What started out as simple hand tools to help fellow Hot Rodders with leak issues has resulted in the latest patent.

Koul Tools announced that they have received Patent US 9,943,942 B2 for both Fitting Fixer and the Surseat lapping tools. Fitting Fixer is their brand-new resurfacing tool for 37° JIC and AN fittings and the Surseat Line Lappers are used for cleaning up imperfections found in tubing flares.

What started out as simple hand tools to help fellow Hot Rodders with leak issues has resulted in the latest patent for Dick Raczuk, owner of Koul Tools. “When I was getting leaks on my car restoration projects, there just wasn’t a legitimate way to seal hard-line connections. These tools solved that issue so I had them produced and put on the market so others get their hard lines sealed. Getting the patent for both of them is great news for us,” Raczuk added.
