Rotary Lift introduces a new line of 14,000-lb. capacity four-post general service and alignment lifts which enable technicians to work on most light-duty vehicles. The new models replace the company’s 12,000-lb. four-post lifts.
In addition to a higher rated lifting capacity, Rotary’s new four-post lifts offer longer runways so they can accommodate vehicles with wheelbases up to 212-1/2 inches. These one-piece runways with a non-skid surface are formed with hefty, 5/16 inch thick steel. A wider yoke gives technicians more working area between runways. The open-front design of the SMO14 general service lift and ARO14 alignment lift gives technicians easier access under the vehicles, while increasing their productivity.
“Our new four-post lift line is more robust, yet flexible to enable technicians to work more efficiently. This is especially true when performing alignments on a wider range of vehicles. The alignment models AR14 and ARO14 have been designed to be compatible with all current alignment instrumentation systems, including new high-tech models,” said John Rylee, Rotary director of marketing. “They provide technicians with improved features necessary to handle the new vehicle alignment demands driven by modern vehicle design, weight increases and longer wheelbases.”
The newly designed rear slip plates used for four-wheel alignments can accommodate vehicles with wheelbases up to 158 inches. Stainless steel radius gauges now also are standard, for a lifetime of performance
Two 7,000-lb. capacity rolling jacks are included on each alignment lift. These jacks roll along tracks that are formed as part of the runways, rather than being welded on, for added strength and durability. The new rolling jacks are also available as an option for the SM14 and SMO14 general service lifts. To extend the versatility of the general service lifts, an optional bolt-in alignment kit is available.
The dual function Sentinel Lock system on each lift features a patented slack cable guide arm that stays on guard to manage the lock latch and enhance users’ peace of mind. Adjustable latch bars ensure that the runways are level at multiple locking positions. A standard filter/lubricator/regulator provides clean, lubricated air for the lift and air-powered tools. Easy-to-use lift controls are located at the driver’s side front of the lift for maximum technician convenience.
Rotary’s new 14,000-lb. capacity four-post lifts have been third-party tested by ETL and certified by ALI to meet or exceed ANSI/ALI ALCTV-1998 performance and safety standards. Lifts are available in three runway lengths and in five standard colors: blue, red, yellow, gray and black. Consult a Rotary representative about custom colors.
“The complete line of Rotary light-duty four-post lifts offer dealers and independent shops a choice of products that will deliver maximum performance and reliability at the right price,” Rylee said.
