Makita technology delivers category-leading charge time, according to the company, so the battery spends more time working and less time sitting on the charger.
Makita’s XT211MB kit includes a variable two-speed 1/2″ Hammer Driver-Drill (0-400 and 0-1,500 rpm) with Makita-built 4-pole motor, which delivers 480 in.-lbs. of max torque. Also included is a variable speed impact driver (0-2,300 rpm and 0-3,200 ipm) that provides 1,420 in.-lbs. of max torque.
The Rapid Optimum Charger has a built-in fan to cool the battery for faster, more efficient charging. The charger communicates with the battery’s built-in chip throughout the charging process to optimize battery life by actively controlling current, voltage and temperature.
