DESTIN A man who took his vehicle from a repair shop without paying for the repairs was arrested.
The incident began after Eugene K. Hosch’s had $487.07 worth of repairs done on his vehicle by Rhodes Auto Repair, according to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Department arrest report.
After the repairs were finished, Hosch came into the business and said his brother and mother would be by later to pay for the repairs, but convinced the business’ co-owner to let him retrieve something from the vehicle, the report stated.
Instead of retrieving the items and leaving the car, Hosch opened the vehicle storage area gate and drove it out of the business without paying.
