Matco Launches New Ratcheting Wrench Product Line

Matco Launches New Ratcheting Wrench Product Line

The 7 and 9 Series Ratcheting Wrenches are designed for the professional mechanic who values strength and accessibility in hand tools.

Matco Tools knows that a major challenge technicians face is working in
tight, cramped spaces. In an effort to
help minimize this frustration, Matco reengineered their popular ratcheting
wrenches to include a 72-teeth line and the only 90-teeth line on the
automotive market, both guaranteed to get in and out of tight spaces
faster.

The improved ratcheting
wrench design includes a 15-degree Knuckle Offset and best-in-class swing arc
for enhanced performance that saves knuckles and grants easy access to small, confined
spaces.

The 7
and 9 Series are also constructed with higher carbon alloy steel for
long-lasting quality and a ratcheting mechanism that’s twice as strong as ANSI
standards.

“At Matco Tools, we are
dedicated to providing the highest quality products at a price that makes
sense. As technology improves in this ever-changing market, we strive to bring
those advancements into our product development process to make tools smarter,
stronger and more efficient,” says Hilda Shipcka, senior product marketing
manager for Matco Tools. “The 7 and 9 Series Ratcheting Wrenches are the
strongest, most useful ratcheting wrenches on the market, and show our
commitment to providing innovative solutions to our technicians.”

A closer look at Matco’s 7
and 9 Series include the following advanced features:

7 Series

  • 72-teeth 7 Series delivers a 5° swing arc. Both allow users to work in tight areas
and require less clearance to turn a fastener.
  • Long-lasting quality with ratchet teeth that are twice as strong
    as ANSI standards
    and
wrenches forged of higher carbon alloy steel and full polish finish.
  • A lifetime warranty that provides quality reassurance.

The 9 Series offers all that
plus these upgrades:

  • 90-teeth 9 Series delivers an industry-best 4° swing arc.
  • An anvil drive box end can be used to loosen or tighten 6pt, 12pt, spline, torx, square
and even fasteners rounded off up to 50%.
  • An exclusive, non-slip open end that works in both directions without reversing the wrench,
allowing users to stop corner round off and remove fasteners up to 40%
    faster.

The 7 and 9 Series Ratcheting
Wrenches are designed for the professional mechanic who values strength and
accessibility in hand tools.  The new
wrenches provide unrivaled strength in design, with the strongest ratchet teeth
and the speed and efficiency to ratchet where others can’t.
