The new Mopar Reman 48RE Heavy-Duty Transmission is ideal for Dodge Ram owners who rely on their trucks for hard work, such as cargo hauling, trailer towing and even large construction jobs. It is designed specifically to handle tough tasks: The Heavy-Duty Transmission is built with heavy-duty components and exclusive features not found on conventional transmissions including a turbine stiffener plate to eliminate hub cracking, a Kevlar reverse band to allow for higher torque capacity, and a billet front cover to eliminate converter ballooning.
