Rotary Lift introduces a new extended height (EH) adapter to enable technicians using any frame-contact Rotary Lift model to properly pick up the Toyota Tundra and other light trucks, SUVs and vans. Additionally, Rotary has widened the frame-engaging pad on this and its existing EH auxiliary adapter by half an inch, in order to accommodate new vehicles, many of which have wider frames.

“As the industry leader, we take very seriously our responsibility to continuously monitor the market and develop new solutions that enable technicians to correctly lift all vehicles on the road today,” explains Ron Lainhart, Rotary Lift parts and service manager. “This new adapter makes it possible for our customers to use their existing two-post and inground Rotary lifts to work on vehicles that they otherwise could not pick up efficiently and consistently.”

Many new trucks and SUVs have running boards and other equipment that make it difficult to reach manufacturer-recommended pick-up points using standard or auxiliary EH adapters, which may be either too short or too tall. Rotary Lift’s new FJ6212 extended height adapter is a mid-range solution. At 7-3/8 inches high, it is taller than the standard adapter, but two inches shorter than Rotary Lift’s FJ696 extended height adapter.

Like the FJ696, the new FJ6212 adapter has a rated capacity of 2,500 lbs. (1134 kg) per adapter. The adapters are sold in kits of four, including mounting rack and hardware. The FJ6212 adapter fits any Rotary Lift frame-engaging vehicle lift manufactured since October 1973.

Rotary makes a full line of adapters, accessories and productivity tools to help technicians maximize their efficiency and productivity.

For more information about the Rotary Lift FJ6212 extended height adapter or any other Rotary Lift product or service, contact your local Rotary distributor, visit www.rotarylift.com or call (800) 640-5438.
