Rotary Lift’s SPOA10 and A10i two-post lifts offer true asymmetrical lifting for longer lift life and maximum access to the vehicle’s interior.
The columns of the SPOA10 and A10i are rotated 30 degrees. This places the vehicle’s approximate center of gravity in line with the optimum load capability of the columns, reducing unnecessary wear and tear on the lift column, carriage and bearings. The positioning of the columns also makes it possible for technicians to fully open passenger car doors to more easily access the vehicle interior and under the dash, with less worry about door dings.
“For maximum convenience and versatility when servicing a wide range of vehicles, the SPOA10 and A10i are ideal,” says John Rylee, Rotary Lift director of marketing. “Rotary Lift offers two models of asymmetrical lifts, plus a large number of contact options and accessories to meet virtually any dealer or independent shop need.”
Both the SPOA10 and the A10i feature Rotary Lift’s patented “Double S” single-piece construction column design that provides a channel for the bearings to travel, while at the same time maximizing column strength. Both lifts have a 10,000-lb. rated capacity, maintenance-free slider block bearings, easy-position arm restraints and overhead padded switch bars to prevent damage if a vehicle is raised too high. A wheel-spotting dish is included with every Rotary Lift SPOA10 and A10i to enable fast and accurate vehicle positioning on the lifts. Extended-height and narrow-bay models are available.
The A10i also includes several productivity-enhancing features. These include dual controls (one on each post), integrated air/electric connections, a standard OSHA-compliant lockable disconnect switch, a tool storage rack, electronic locks and a power unit that is located at the top of the post, out of the way.
The SPOA10 and A10i come standard with two-stage arms and three-position, flip-up adapters designed to accommodate a wide range of vehicles. Rotary Lift offers the highest standard adapter reach in the industry. Three-stage front arms are optional on either lift. Three-stage arms increase overall arm sweep to make it possible to properly lift vehicles with uni-body construction, wider vehicle tread width, lower profile, or short/long wheelbases. Rotary Lift also offers a wide variety of vehicle contact configurations and auxiliary adapters, including polymer thread-up adapters (standard on three-stage arms), stackable adapters and fixed pad contact models.
The Rotary Lift SPOA10 and A10i bear the “gold label” demonstrating that they have been third-party tested by ETL and certified by ALI to meet or exceed ANSI standards.
