Snap-on Packs Power and Performance into New Compact Battery Charger

Snap-on Debuts New Compact Battery Charger

The charger is easily transportable by the front finger-access handle from the bench to every job.

The new Snap-on Bench Top Battery Charger Plus EEBC30A12V equips technicians to conveniently charge 6, 8 or 12 V AGM, standard lead acid and LiFeP04 vehicle batteries, saving time in and out of the shop.

The EEBC30A12V features a rugged, compact design with clever unit wraparound storage for its power cord and charging cables with bristles to secure the clamps in place. The charger is easily transportable by the front finger-access handle from the bench to every job, complete with a retractable hook for underhood hanging. A large LCD color display, readable in sunlight, prompts the user with selections and provides battery status and diagnostic information in up to six languages.

Performing a multi-stage charge cycle, the unit offers a charge rate of 2, 15 or 30 A (2 or 10 A for LiFeP04) and a stable power mode that maintains vehicle battery voltage during repairs and offsets battery drawdown while the engine is off. Included with the unit are long reach 82″ copper-aluminum blend 8-guage multi-temperature flex cables with tough 300 A steel clamps and an AC power cord, both easily field replaceable (EEBC30A12V-CABCLP and EEBC30A12V-CORD).
