Time is money. By utilizing Snap-on’s 3/8” Drive Impact Wrench (MG325) with its matching family of Flank Drive socket sets, you will save a lot of time, allowing you to do more jobs, which translates into more business and more money.

“Snap-on’s new MG325 3/8” Drive Impact Wrench can go where most of our competitor’s impact wrenches can’t go,” said Rodger Isetts, product manager for Snap-on. “When used with our state-of-the-art sockets, there is a difference in efficiency and productivity with the MG325. Since it is smaller, lighter, faster and stronger, there are more jobs you can perform more efficiently with the MG325.”

To confirm the increased productivity, the Snap-on MG325 was tested against one of its competitor’s impact wrenches. The MG325, used with Snap-on’s new swivel impacts, removed 28.8 bolts in 60 seconds. The competitor’s impact wrench and swivel impacts were only able to remove 9.3 bolts in those same 60 seconds.

The feedback from service technicians who use the MG325 has been overwhelmingly positive and they have found that there are multiple applications for the MG325, including:

2006 Chevy Malibu – The Snap-on MG325 fits inside the inner wheel. A 1/2” gun will not fit inside the inner wheel well of a 2006 Chevy Malibu to get at the motor mount bolts.

2006 Chevy Express Van – The Snap-on MG325 removes the front hub bearing, torque converter bolts on the flywheel and cross member bolt to pull transmission out, while a competitor’s 1/2” gun will not fit to get at torque converter bolts on the flywheel.

Brake Caliper Mountings – (feedback from a service technician) “With the MG325, I can remove both the 14mm and the 17mm caliper mounting bolts. If I was using my old 3/8” impact, I would have to switch to the 1/2” Impact to remove the 17mm bolt.”

As an incentive to give Snap-on’s Flank Drive socket sets a try, Snap-on is offering customers a limited-time $100 savings when purchasing Snap-on’s new MG325 3/8” Drive Impact Wrench along with one of its matching Flank Drive socket sets, either the seven-piece swivel impact socket set (207IPFM) or the 14-piece deep impact socket set (214SIMFMYA).

The Snap-on MG325 3/8” Impact Wrench and Flank Drive Socket Sets cover most automobile and light truck applications and are ideal for general automotive maintenance tasks and continuous use facilities such as muffler and tire shops. Small engine repair facilities, motorcycle and snowmobile shops, and manufacturing environments where weight and repetitive motion are concerns will also benefit from its use.
