The latest release includes new and enhanced coverage back to 1992 for Alfa Romeo, Audi, BMW, FIAT, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, MINI, Porsche, Smart Car, Volkswagen and Volvo.

It also features new 2016 domestic and Asian coverage for GM, Infiniti, Lexus, Mazda, Nissan, Scion, Subaru and Toyota. Technicians have access to over 98,000 new codes, tests, tips and data for model years 1996 to 2016. The exclusive Fast-Track Troubleshooter coverage goes all the way back to 1980 with 15,300 new tips and timesavers. Plus, the new software offers 23,860 Guided Component Tests, such as training and tips for diesel emission systems, EVAP systems and body systems sub codes engine drive cycles.

The 16.4 Interactive Application Guide is divided into 10 sections that include: video, the stats, subscription, application guide, personality keys, what’s new, vehicle makes, platform accessories, SureTrack and MODIS Edge features. To navigate the guide, technicians simply click on the section that they’d like to visit and then click on the “return to home” button to get back to the main menu.
