Technicians can Perform more Brake Bleeding Procedures Using Snap-on’s Software Bundle 7.2

Technicians now have the ability to perform ABS brake bleeding on a significantly increased number of GM, Ford and Chrysler vehicles by using Snap-on's new Software Bundle 7.2 with their MODIS, SOLUS and the MT2500 Scanner diagnostic platforms.

Technicians now have the ability to perform ABS brake bleeding on a significantly increased number of GM, Ford and Chrysler vehicles by using Snap-on’s new Software Bundle 7.2 with their MODIS, SOLUS and the MT2500 Scanner diagnostic platforms.

“This feature saves valuable time and helps technicians make more money by operating the pump and solenoids on an ABS system,” said Chris Hockett, technical marketing specialist, Snap-on Diagnostics. “Technicians now have a solution when air is trapped in the hydraulic units or in the brake lines running to and from them, when using Software Bundle 7.2. This ensures optimum ABS performance for your customers’ safety.”

Snap-on’s new Software Bundle 7.2 provides the latest coverage to keep diagnostic tools running at peak performance. The software upgrade includes all new codes, live data and bi-directional tests for 1999-2006 U.S. domestic makes to enhance the already strong coverage for vehicles back to 1980. Other new system level enhancements on MODIS and SOLUS include the ability to recall the 25 previous vehicles, Scanner movie save and review, plus many more valuable features to help technicians get the most out of their diagnostic investments.
