The 4000B-SP brake lathe is a simplified precision tool that converts from drums to rotors in less than 30 seconds. The twin cutter tool simultaneously resurfaces both sides of a rotor and cuts to one-thousandth of an inch to meet the demands of today’s more sensitive vehicles. In addition, one-pass machining with positive rake tool bits create precision machined surfaces every time.

“Brake service professionals know that time lost is money lost,” said Kevin Keefe, Hennessy’s group marketing manager. “With this new brake lathe, AMMCO is helping shop owners maximize efficiency. The 4000B-SP features a 44-pound spindle, extra large bronze bearings with a constant oil feed and larger drive gear that provide durability and help reduce wear. Keefe added that many AMMCO 4000s are still in service after 40 years of continuous use.
