The Thrush brand, a popular choice among muscle car enthusiasts from the 1960s through today, announces the release of two new muffler series – Thrush Welded and the Stainless Steel Glasspacks – plus two complete Thrush Turbo exhaust systems for 1969 Camaros and 1964-72 El Caminos.

Thrush systems, mufflers and accessories are manufactured by Tenneco Inc.

Available for a wide-range of popular domestic and import applications, new 100-percent aluminized Thrush Welded mufflers are fully welded for extended durability and wear. Featuring a two-chamber design for improved flow and a deep, aggressive tone, the new mufflers are available in a 19-in. overall length with a 2-1/4-in., 2-1/2-in., or 3-in. inlet and outlet diameter in a variety of center/offset styles.

Stainless Steel Glasspacks, another new muffler series from Thrush, combine the classic sound and power of the original Glasspack with a heavy-gauge T304 stainless steel shell. The Thrush Stainless Steel muffler features a straight-through perforated tube for minimal turbulence and continuous roving fiberglass for the classic Thrush sound. Available in a 25-in. overall length, the new Glasspacks are available in a 2 ¼-in., 2 ½-in., or 3-in. inlet and outlet diameter.

Thrush also released the first full Thrush Turbo exhaust systems for 1969 Camaros SBC (p/n 89018) and 1964-72 El Caminos SBC (p/n 89019). Each Thrush Turbo exhaust system features 2-1/2-in. smooth-bend, fully aluminized tubing and includes an H-pipe and two classic Thrush Turbo mufflers. Each Thrush Turbo muffler utilizes a unique high-flow design with reversible flow chambers, time-tested spun-locked heads and all-aluminized materials. The new systems also include all necessary hangers, brackets and other hardware.
