Transtar Introduces New Line of Complete Automatic Transmission Units

Remanufactured in the U.S. and to OE quality, this new line offers applications for all major foreign and domestic vehicles.

Transtar Industries has launched a full line of complete automatic transmission units (AT Units). With the addition of this new line, Transtar can now offer new solutions to transmission shops.

Remanufactured in the U.S. and to OE quality, this new line offers applications for all major foreign and domestic vehicles.

“I was talking to a shop owner the other day and his rebuilder was on vacation for a few days,” says Mark Russell, who was recently named director, Complete Transmission Solutions. “He purchased a unit and was able to do the repair and get his customer back on the road again.”

Before joining Transtar, Russell led the northeast region for Axiom Automotive Technologies Inc. He came to the company with great expertise in the industry and has successfully managed the establishment of the AT Units line. Jim Berry, vice president of marketing, said, “When we hired Mark, we knew we needed a senior manager who knew this industry and our customers – he was the perfect fit.”

All units are fully tested using state-of-the-art equipment and include the Transtar Seal of Quality. AT Units are also updated with the latest pieces and fittings, and are backed by Transtar’s 18-month/18,000 mile national warranty with extended 36-month/100,000 mile warranty availability. Transtar’s comprehensive inventory enables the company to deliver to most markets within a day.
