These new sets feature VIM Tools New Dual Drive system where sockets can be used with a standard 1/4” square drive tool or with a special double box wrench.
These tools will allow better access to tight applications, where a socket and ratchet wrench will not fit, says the company. Both sets are shipped on a patented Magrail Tool holder.
The seven-piece DD400 Dual Drive SAE Set includes 1/4” through 9/16” sockets with a 1/4” square drive and external Hex Drive in 11mm or 13mm on larger sizes.
The nine-piece DDM400 Dual Drive Metric Set includes 6–14mm sockets with a 1/4” square drive and external Hex Drive in 11mm or 13mm on larger sizes.
