Bartec USA announces the acquisition of a tool company as well as the expansion of its range of aftermarket service products.

According to the company, Bartec’s going-forward strategy is to add complementary service-related products to its existing line of TPMS tools and accessories, which will leverage the company’s strength of brand, its large and seasoned sales team, its distributor partners and its customer support. According to Bartec CEO Scot Holloway, “The Bartec Group is growing organically as well as through acquisition. This year we purchased the aftermarket tools specialists, SP Diagnostics.”

SP Diagnostics, global brand located in the United Kingdom, is a manufacturer of OBD II-based diagnostic and service tools as well as a relatively new product called Revive Turbo Cleaner. “With the addition of the SP team, our existing TPMS product line just got stronger, and there are new products already being introduced this year at SEMA,” noted Michael Rose, product manager at Bartec USA.

Revive Turbo Cleaner is a new product for cleaning a turbocharger without disassembly of the turbo itself. The patented chemical process strips carbon and soot buildup from inside the turbo as well as the engine, reviving the vehicle’s performance and potentially saving money, says the company.

Revive comes in two application kits, the single application for engine displacements smaller than 5 liters, and the BIG-T Kit, for large displacement engines typically found in turbo diesel pick-up trucks.

Revive will be on display at SEMA Booths #33309 and #40047, and AAPEX Booth #1073.
