ACDelco has introduced a new online catalog designed to make it easier for customers to look up fluids and other aftermarket chemical products.

The new online catalog allows customers to search using the GM and/or ACDelco part number as well as chemical type. For further ease of use, it details 20 chemical types including air conditioning, power steering fluids, brake fluids, motor oil and others. The motor oil category offers a search by weight or by type: conventional/mineral, synthetic blends or full synthetics.

In addition to chemical type, ACDelco offers specification information by application, with the ability to link to the desired product from the specification area.

The chemical catalog is part of ACDelco’s WIP program, an online parts catalog and ordering system that connects customers to ACDelco warehouse distributors for electronic parts lookup and sales. A stand-alone version, as well as more information about WIP, can also be found at www.acdelcoteconnect.com.

When they were first invented, LEDs were a revolutionary development of electrical science, affecting virtually every aspect of our lives. Now LED lights are everywhere, and we’re all familiar with them, even in our homes, but the automotive industry has reaped the benefits as much as, if not more than, any other industry. Just like a diode, LEDs allow current flow in only one direction. When current, or electron flow occurs, photons are released.
