Experienced technicians understand the importance of brake lubrication. But, not all brake lubricants are created equal. Unlike Bendix Ceramlub, other products on today’s market use refined petroleum or silicone/Teflon as the base material.
Petroleum-based products have little solid content and lower temperature ratings (400°F-500°F). They can cause rubber components to swell.
Silicone-based products also have a limited temperature range (about 400°F), contain no solids, and quickly push out until no support is left.
But Bendix Ceramlub is different. Better. Its base material contains no petroleum, silicone or Teflon to weaken the carrier base. Its solid content exceeds 30%. It stands up to the most extreme temperatures (from -70°F to 2,800°F) and provides protection against dirt, corrosion and uneven pad wear. Bendix Ceramlub won’t swell rubber or harm plastic, and it can’t be washed off due to salt spray, water exposure or other environmental factors. What’s more, testing shows that Bendix Ceramlub dampens noise better than other lubricants on the market today.
