The new locator uses sophisticated mapping technology, allowing motorists to access maps and driving directions to individual ASA member shops across North America.

Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance Awards $16,000 in College Scholarships
For the ninth year in a row, Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance has awarded $16,000 in scholarships to members and/or their children to assist in their post-high school education, demonstrating that education is a top priority with the aftermarket giant. Since the college scholarship program began, the Alliance has dedicated over $145,000 to helping their members continue their education. Automotive Service Professionals Reception Scheduled for Nov. 3 in Las Vegas
The Automotive Service Association (ASA) and the International Automotive Technicians’ Network (iATN) will jointly sponsor the fourth annual Service Professionals Industry Reception Thursday, Nov. 3, from 6 p.m.-9:30 p.m. in Event Center B at The Mirage in Las Vegas. The event will be an opportunity for service professionals to network and to visit 50-plus exhibitors that will be on hand to showcase new products, services and technologies.
Fall ASE Certification Testing Schedule Announced
The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) will offer its full complement of 40-plus certification tests for repair professionals and parts specialists this fall over the course of three evenings on Nov. 10, 15 and 17. The tests will be given at more than 750 locations throughout the U.S. and Canada. The registration deadline is Sept. 30, 2005.
