The new CanDo OBD Aid allows you to safely check the OBD II DLC port to diagnose exactly what is causing communication errors. It is a fast and easy way to properly check your DLC port prior to scan tool communication or ECU flashing.
With this tool, you can constantly monitor the battery voltage with the tool providing warning beeps in the event of weak battery condition. The warning beeps will alert you when the voltage falls below 12V or when it rises above 15.2V while programming or coding.
The CanDo OBD Aid provides a quick check on the alternator’s charging conditions by monitoring voltage.
With the Data Saver Cable (optional), you can prevent the loss of data in the ECU’s memory and protect the ECU when disconnecting the old battery or connecting a new one.
You can take voltage/frequency measurements at the pins during diagnosis communication with the ECU when the engine won’t start.
