Federal-Mogul has introduced an expanded
and enhanced premium offering of Wagner replacement headlamp capsules, designed
to meet the needs of virtually any vehicle owner. The new premium Wagner line
featuring three highly differentiated, advanced-technology capsule designs is
offered in new, retail-friendly packaging, the company says.
The Wagner premium capsule line now
features expanded coverage and advanced technologies for popular Wagner
BriteLite headlamps and newly redesigned, Xenon gas-charged Wagner TruView Plus
headlamps. Federal-Mogul also has introduced Wagner NightDefense headlamps,
which provide an enhanced field of vision for improved driving safety,
according to the company.
“We are excited to now offer three
differentiated premium technologies that meet the demands of today’s drivers.
These sophisticated and proven technologies help consumers enhance driving
comfort, confidence and safety in a full range of conditions,” said Mike McKee,
product director, service products, Federal-Mogul.
Available for 98 percent of registered
passenger vehicles, Wagner BriteLite headlamps deliver 80 percent more light to
the road and project a beam pattern that is 120 feet longer than standard
halogen headlamps, according to Federal-Mogul. New Wagner TruView Plus
capsules, available for 95 percent of registered passenger vehicles, feature a
Xenon gas charge and offer the what the company describes as the “Purest,
Whitest Light” among replacement capsules, to provide the look of
high-intensity discharge (HID) lamps.
New Wagner NightDefense capsules feature
an exclusive tri-color/tri-zone coating that disperses light that is up to 40
percent brighter for optimum viewing, the company says. They also project a
beam pattern that is up to 60 feet longer than competing lamps. According to
Federal-Mogul, this unique technology projects a bright white light straight
ahead for a deeper view, and an enhanced horizontal beam pattern with yellow
light for an easier view of the street and road signs and to help reduce the
glare of oncoming traffic.
“NightDefense capsules represent an
important new benchmark in headlamp performance,” McKee said. “Consumers can
now significantly enhance their driving vision through an easy and affordable
upgrade.”
To support the launch of the new Wagner
premium capsule offering, Federal-Mogul has re-engineered its retail packaging
with a new clear plastic two-pack design featuring enhanced callouts that
highlight key consumer benefits.
