“After such a rough winter, our customers will be servicing a good number of HVAC systems and the new Snap-on Air Conditioning Equipment and Tools catalog will help them find the right tools to take advantage of these business opportunities,” said Dan Batassa, category manager for Snap-on. “One of the featured items in the catalog is a real game changer. Our innovative hybrid-capable vehicle A/C service system can properly and safely service both hybrid and non-hybrid vehicles.”

The Snap-on KOOLKARE Plus (EEAC325BH) helps recover, recycle, evacuate, leak test and recharge R-134A systems quickly and accurately. It meets the SAE J-2788 standard of 95 percent refrigerant recovery and ±0.5 ounce charge accuracy, which saves money on refrigerant and call backs. This hybrid system features many time and money-saving features including an intuitive user interface that guides the technician through the complete service process, automatic air purge, and a filter-life monitor alarm that alerts when preventive maintenance is required.
