Rotary Lift has updated its popular GUWSFF5 Productivity Jack to make it even more user-friendly and easy to service. The jack is used to aid in the removal and installation of vehicle assemblies, including transmissions, fuel tanks and axles.
An air assist feature has been added to the jack, enabling technicians to use shop air to quickly raise the adapter to the desired height with just the push of a button. The jack’s lowering valve is metered, making fine height adjustments possible. This feature allows the jack to be positioned properly to the vehicle for responsive component lifting and installation.
Rotary has also redesigned the productivity jack’s caster system to improve its ability to effortlessly roll over all surfaces. The lockable casters combine with a low center of gravity to provide excellent stability.
“Our productivity jack is a versatile tool that technicians can rely on for the safe and efficient removal and installation of various components on a wide range of vehicles, from passenger cars to heavy-duty trucks,” says Ron Lainhart, Rotary parts and service manager. “It is a much more ergonomic and efficient choice than relying on pure muscle, especially considering the recent productivity-enhancing improvements.”
The jack is built with a corrosion prevention system to ensure long life. The system submerges the hardened chrome cylinder in oil every time the lift is raised or lowered, protecting the cylinder walls.
The Rotary Lift GUWSFF5 Productivity Jack has a lifting capacity of 1,100 lbs. It offers a stroke of more than 43 inches and is 31.5 inches high. A variety of lifting tables are available for use with the jack.
