Uvex, the leader in safety eyewear, recently announced the launch of its newest protective eyewear, the Uvex Slate. With its nine-base wrap-around dual-lens design, premium comfort features and a sunglass look, the Uvex Slate provides wearers with full-time protection, comfort and style.
The Uvex Slate offers premium comfort features that include spring-hinge temples, which easily adapt to a variety of facial features, maximizing comfort and encouraging a secure fit. An adjustable saddle pad nose piece and soft temple tip pads further enhance comfort and help increase wear and therefore compliance in the workplace. Available in clear, gray and gold mirror lens tints and with both hardcoat and anti-fog lens coatings, the Uvex Slate is ideal for most indoor and outdoor applications.
"One of the biggest challenges employers face today is safety compliance. Employees do not want to wear safety eyewear that is uncomfortable or unattractive,” said Ariel Rodriguez, product manager, Uvex. "With its excellent coverage, lightweight metal frame, premium comfort features and sunglass styling, the Uvex Slate provides employers with a protective eyewear option that employees will want to wear.”
The Uvex Slate eyewear complies with ANSI Z87+ and CSA Z94.3 standards.
All Uvex lenses offer 99.9 percent ultraviolet protection and are available in a variety of tints.
