Reformulated Tire Repair Product from Prestone Features Better Packaging and Price

The new 13.25 oz. Tire Jack product is more compact and easier to store than its 18 oz. predecessor, while still delivering the sealing and inflation pressure needed in emergency situations.

Better. Faster. Cheaper. Words that Prestone R&D experts live by when designing new products for customers.

The brand is set to introduce a new, improved version of its successful Prestone Tire Jack Inflator & Sealer that features not only a better formula, but is packaged in a smaller, more user-friendly container and is more competitively priced.

The new 13.25 oz. Tire Jack product is more compact and easier to store than its 18 oz. predecessor, while still delivering the sealing and inflation pressure needed in emergency situations. It works on all automobile make and model tires and is safe for use with tire pressure monitoring systems when used as directed.

Additionally, the new packaging allows consumers to quickly and easily screw the can directly onto the tire valve to inflate the tire, making the process nearly fool proof. Gone are the complicated hoses.

“We saw an opportunity to improve Tire Jack to fulfill unmet needs in the category,” said Kelly O’Donnell, director of marketing, Honeywell Consumer Products Group, Antifreeze & Car Care. “With an SRP of $5.29, one of the best values available, these enhancements will help retailers capture sales throughout the year.”

The new Tire Jack product will be available for retail orders in the first quarter of 2010. For more information on Prestone products, technicians and DIYers should visit their local parts retailer or log on to www.prestone.com. Distributors and retailers should contact their local Honeywell CPG sales representative or call (800) 890-2075.
