The new VERDICT M2 Two-Channel Scope/Meter
(EAK0301B14A) from Snap-on provides high-speed component testing for a quick
and confident diagnosis. It combines a two-channel, high-speed lab
scope and a digital graphing meter to deliver 20 megasamples/second/channel and
3MHz bandwidth for accurate testing of high-speed signals used in the latest
automotive technology, said the company. The scope/meter tests VDC, VAC, ohms, continuity,
capacitance, frequency, duty cycle, pulse-width and diodes.
“When
designing a new product, we always keep professional technicians in mind and
add in features that we know will help them be more efficient and productive in
the service bay,” said Mark Schaefer, director of marketing, Snap-on
Diagnostics. “For example, the 20 megasamples per second per channel and 290
data points per screen makes it easy for techs to catch component faults and
glitches. We also included color-coded waveforms to the two-channels to help
techs compare readings from multiple components side-by-side in real time.
Plus, the normal and inverse display allows for optimum visibility in daylight
and dark.”
