COATS Introduces AutoFlate Digital Tire Inflator

This revolutionary tire inflator is today's first UL-approved digital inflator, and boasts an accuracy of +/- 0.5 PSI to guarantee uniform pressure in all tires and the elimination of time-consuming comebacks from unnecessary TPMS warnings ....

Hennessy Industries announces their newest addition to the family of COATS products, the AutoFlate Digital Inflator. This revolutionary tire inflator is today’s first UL-approved digital inflator, and boasts an accuracy of +/- 0.5 PSI to guarantee uniform pressure in all tires and the elimination of time-consuming comebacks from unnecessary TPMS warnings.

AutoFlate’s innovative and easy-to-use design means inflation can be carried out on or off the tire changer in around 40 seconds, leaving technicians the opportunity to change the next tire while inflation occurs. For the average shop, this could mean a five to 10 percent increase in jobs per day. The heavy-duty grip chuck seals and holds on to the stem while its rounded grip end prevents scratches. In an effort to promote bead-sealing best practices, the AutoFlate’s automatic pause at 40 PSI requires technician override.

An additional benefit to the AutoFlate is its adaptability for a growing trend in tire inflation – Nitrogen. With just a quick keypad sequence, technicians can switch from Air to Nitrogen mode to inflate tires. For added ease-of-use, a mounting bracket for COATS APX tire changers allows AutoFlate to be mounted directly to the APX robo-arm tower.

Also available is the COATS Air-Check, offering an efficient way to ensure correct tire pressure while tires are still on the car.
